I’m beyond grateful to have worked in education my entire life. Every day I’ve found something to love—a shining moment from a kid, a lesson plan beyond what I thought it would be, an idea shared with me by a colleague that made a difference for my students.
After a decade working with middle and high school kids, I took the non-traditional educator path of diving into adult education. I wanted to learn what made great educators great, how they thought and what they did. And it fascinates me to this day, 30 years later.
